Elluminate online conference

Posted by Dave Fagg on September 19, 2006

Yesterday I participated in an “Elluminate” session. Elluminate is a program that allows dozens of people to be online at the same time in the same “room”, discussing a topic. You can talk to people and instant message them. But the great thing is the whiteboard. On this whiteboard the moderator can put websites, pictures, music, film etc. Then the participants can give their feedback using the various tools for the whiteboard.

Myself and Jenny Ashby are co-facilitating a session on podcasting on October 12th during the Knowledge Bank Online Conference – there looks to be some really fantastic sessions. To sign up, go here, sign up and then register for our session. You will also get to use the Elluminate program, which is actually pretty fun!
